BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Wednesday is Whisker Wednesday!

Lil and Orange Blossom are up for adoption at Cat Haven in Baton Rouge! They are an adorable bonded pair looking for a loving home to call their own. Lil and Orange Blossom are 7 months old and would do great in any kind of household. The duo has not been introduced to dogs yet, however. They may be shy at first, but once they warm up to you, they are full of love and affection!

Since they must be adopted together, their adoption fee is $200 instead of $125 each. You can visit them in room 3 at Cat Haven, 11130 N. Harrells Ferry Road. Cat Haven is open from noon to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Events

Now through Saturday, Nov. 25th, Cat Haven is hosting a very unique fundraiser called Renoir or Faux Paw! If you donate $25 to Cat Haven and submit a photo of your pet, an artist will create a portrait. Cat Haven says, “You might get an extremely talented artist, or you might get someone who can barely draw a stick figure.”

The portrait would be a great stocking stuffer, a gift for a loved one, or a “purrfect” treat yourself moment.

You can pick up your portrait from Cat Haven between Thursday, Dec. 14 and Friday, Dec. 22.

How You Can Help Cat Haven

Cat Haven desperately needs fosters and adopters so they can rescue more cats and kittens in need.

There are many cats and kittens up for adoption at Cat Haven! If you cannot adopt a furry friend, but you’d like to help out, you can fostervolunteer or donate. If you cannot foster, adopt, or volunteer, Cat Haven is always in need of cat litter.
