Travelodge is set to open SIX brand new hotels in the lead-up to Christmas, and all of them will have rooms from £29 a night.
The budget hotel chain announced that it will be opening new hotels in Chippenham , Edinburgh , Dagenham (London), Beckton (London), Rochester and Sittingbourne .
That means that come 2020, the company will have 595 hotels in the UK, Ireland and Spain, while together the new hotels represent a £45million appropriate investment for third party investors.
It will mark the first time that Travelodge opens hotels in Rochester, Sittingbourne and Beckton (the latter of which will also feature some of the brand's SuperRooms).
Meanwhile, the new hotel opening in Edinburgh will be a Travelodge Plus - the chain's take on budget chic.
These hotels include enhanced rooms with a 'tranquility zen' colour scheme, king-size beds, blackout curtains and bespoke pixel wall art, Travelodge SuperRooms , and a new bar-café with more seating options such as booths and dining benches.
You can already book rooms on the Travelodge website , with rates currently on offer from £29 a night.
It makes for a particularly tempting deal for families, as a £29 room works out at just £7.25pp for a family of four sharing a room.
Four of the six new hotels will also feature the brand's on-site Bar Café restaurants, where there are more ways to save the pennies thanks to the meal deals on offer.
For example, you can choose from an Unlimited Breakfast menu at £8.25pp or an unlimited lighter breakfast option at £5.95pp - and for each paying adult, two children eat for free.
You can also find dinner deals from £12.25 which includes a main plus a starter, side or dessert. (Prices can vary depending on the hotel where you are staying).
