The pitching market continues to shuffle.
Sunday we heard rumblings of a Tyler Glasnow deal, and yesterday it made it to the finish line. The Dodgers add another arm while they continue their pursuit of Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and the Rays continue their cycle of trading away their stars as soon as they perceive them going beyond their peak. LA has been the headline driver of the offseason so far, and we’re all waiting to see if that continues or not.
We’ve got out own agenda to get to though, and it starts with Matt writing up a free agent target for a promising bat with an uncertain future in Rhys Hoskins. Josh then follows up with a look ahead to the future and Rōki Sasaki’s upcoming arrival to the States. Andrés has the latest Top 100 post, and he’ll be focusing on a legend of the 1920s teams in Bob Meusel. Peter examines the case for Frankie Montas to return, and to wrap up the day I’ll be back for another round of answering your mailbag questions.
1. Outside of Yamamoto, which pitcher do you want the Yankees to get the most?
2. Will Tyler Glasnow find success in LA, or will he be the next pitcher that the Rays sell on at the right time?
