There are hundreds of thousands of games out there on Android and iPhone.

But we’ve found some great party games that are completely free and worth trying.

Heads up!

Charades is a classic game but it usually requires a bit of effort to set up.

There are loads of different versions out there but one of the best of the bunch is Heads Up!.

The game is usually paid-for but with your Netflix subscription you can get it for free – and with no ads or in-app payments.

For anyone who doesn’t know about Charades already, you have to guess the card on your head from the clues your fellow game players give.

Obviously, in this case, the card you hold up is on your phone.

This special Netflix edition features decks based on Netflix titles like Stranger Things.

Make sure you’re logged into your Netflix account to play it.

If you don’t have a Netflix account, you could just stick to basics and try this Charades word generator site.

UNO! is another classic game you may not already own.

In which case, there’s a free iOS and Android version available.

Each player will need to download it on their own device to participate in the game together.

For anyone who hasn’t played it already, the aim of UNO! is simple – be the first person in your group to have one card left, getting rid of each card based on matched colours and numbers on the main group deck.

This also has in-app purchases but you can play for free with ads.

Among Us

If you’re looking for something less traditional, Among Us is a popular choice with more than 500,000 downloads on the Google Play Store alone.

You can play together over Wi-Fi with four to 15 players.

The aim is to complete simple tasks together to keep your ship running.

However, one of you is an imposter hellbent on ruining your efforts, killing everyone on board.

So you’ll need to figure out who the bad guy is before the time runs out.
