ARSENAL are scouting teenage Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu, according to reports.
The Gunners are intent on bringing in the best youngsters from all over the world – and have given several a shot this season.
Kokcu, 18, has already broken into the Feyenoord first team and played for Turkey at Under-21 level.
Now, the Daily Mail claims he is on Arsenal’s radar with the Dutch outfit admitting they may not be able to keep hold of their talent.
Gabriel Martinelli has emerged as a potential superstar after bagging two braces already this season.
Joe Willock, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Bukayo Saka and Reiss Nelson have also been given chances to impress in a youthful squad.
Despite being under pressure, Unai Emery has kept his faith in his whizkids and is starting to reap the rewards.
The Gunners are firing in Europe and sit third ion the Premier League table – just a point shy of Manchester City.
Mesut Ozil, meanwhile, has been frozen out as Emery looks to offload the £350,000-a-week flop.
The Spaniard has told the former Real Madrid star that he doesn’t deserve to be in the Arsenal side, instead opting to field the likes of Dani Ceballos and Joe Willock.
And Ozil has made just two appearances all season, while also finding himself axed from the last three games completely.
Kokcu would add another option in a midfield which could grow into a powerhouse if the key figures continue to develop.
