James Conner awarded Steelers' Ed Block Courage Award

Running back James Conner has been selected as the Steelers’ recipient of the 2019 Ed Block Courage Award.

Conner was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in 2015 when he was a junior at the Pitt and was declared cancer-free in 2018.

The award is given to one player from every NFL team who exemplifies sportsmanship and courage along with their ability to overcome great adversity. Recipients are selected in a vote by their teammates.
