SPEED skater Elise Christie will be aiming to put the misery of Sochi 2014 behind her this week.
Britain's triple world champ was disqualified in all three of her events at the last Winter Olympics.
Who is Elise Christie?
Elise, 27, is a Scottish short-track speed skater, from Livingston, who was born on August 13, 1990.
She moved to Nottingham when she was 15, to focus on her training, and is currently studying sport science at Loughborough College.
She specialises in the 1,000m event, and is a ten time European gold medallist.
In 2017 she became a triple world champion. Elise took the 1,000m, 1,500m and overall titles at the World Short Track Speed Skating Championships in Rotterdam - and won bronze in the 3,000m.
She endured heartache at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, after she was disqualified in all three of her events and was the subject of online abuse and death threats after a collision with a South Korean skater.
Elise was nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award last year.
Who is Elise Christie dating?
Elise's boyfriend is reportedly Hungarian short-track speed skater Liu (Sándor) Shaolin - who has a Chinese dad.
Liu competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics, and the couple have been dating since October 2015.
Her ex-boyfriend is Team GB short-track speed skater Jack Whelbourne.
Jack is also from Nottingham - and shares Elise's coach, Olympic bronze medallist Nicky Gooch.
