BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The St. George Fire Department responded to a reported house fire a little before 4:30 a.m. on Friday, January 27. The home was located in 13900 block of Poydras Ave.
Firefighters were able to get the house fire under control. SGFD said there were people at home when the fire started but they were able to get out safely. There were no reported injuries in connection with this fire.
Fire investigators are currently on scene trying to determine the cause of the house fire.
