GONZALES, La. (BRPROUD) — The Rescue Alliance has partnered with the Friendship House to host an Easter basket drive for your pets.
If you don’t own a pet but would like to help, a basket can be purchased and donated to a sheltered pet at the Companion Animal Alliance.
The drive will be going on until Wednesday, April 5.
Baskets can be purchased at Petsmart in Gonzales from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Baskets are available at Petsmart until Sunday, March 12. After Sunday, baskets can be purchased from the Rescue Alliance office, 12484 Highway 44 in Gonzales.
The cost of each basket is $15 for the small baskets and $25 for the larger basket.
This Easter basket drive will benefit not only the pets but the individuals at Friendship House that have assembled them.
