Baseball Playoffs Should Be Earlier and Available to All

Regarding Joanna Cohen’s “Put the Playoffs Back in Waking Hours” (op-ed, Oct. 1): In addition to the late starts for baseball’s playoff games, years ago baseball seemed to start the trend that more sports have followed: cable-only early playoff rounds. So not only do children need to have parents who are willing to look the other way with regard to bedtimes, but they need parents who are willing to subject their families to the possibilities of channel flipping through 50-plus stations of Kardashians by subscribing to some paid cable or internet streaming service if they want to be able to watch the best baseball games...
