Authorities are asking for help after an 18-year-old University of Portland student disappeared over the weekend.
Owen Klinger, a freshman, was last seen on campus around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, wearing a light-blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a drawstring backpack, according to a press release from the Portland Police Bureau.
Klinger’s mother said he told his roommates that he was going to a meeting for his lacrosse team, but he never showed up and hasn’t been heard from since.\
“It’s really out of character for Owen not to come home to the dorm," his mother, Mary, told KATU.
Police confirmed to the Daily News that there was still no word on Klinger’s whereabouts as of Wednesday morning.
