Who are Ohio State football’s Defensive MVP’s through six games?

Cleveland 2 months ago

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- There’s an obvious answer to the question who Ohio State’s football’s Defensive MVP’s this season.

Chase Young and Jeffrey Okudah, in that order. But for the Buckeyes’ defense to be considered one of the best in the country that would mean there are others who are playing at a high level as well. During an off-week is the perfect time to highlight some of those players.

Ohio State ranks third in the country in points allowed per game and tied for six in turnover forced this season. This defense has done a complete 180-degree turnaround from last season. While Young and Okudah are playing like future top ten draft picks, others are showing that some times a simplified defensive approach is all that’s needed for a team to succeed.
