Black ballet pioneer Arthur Mitchell’s UWS pad lists for $2M

New York Post 1 week ago

The home of the late Arthur Mitchell, a co-founder of the Dance Theater of Harlem and the first African-American dancer with the New York City Ballet, is now on the market for $1.9 million.

Mitchell died last year at age 84.

The residence is at 60 Riverside Drive on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

The two-bedroom, 2½-bathroom home comes with wide views of Hudson River and Riverside Park.

It opens to a spacious foyer, which leads to a formal living room, a dining area, a windowed kitchen and a balcony.

The building has a round-the-clock doorman, laundry on every floor and a garage.

The listing broker is Gerry Kendrick, of Corcoran.

I love pad thai, but I'm very picky about it. It can't be super saucy or sickly sweet, and not too oily either. I prefer Pad Thai on the dryer side, rather than swimming in a sauce -- which is why I make it rather than order it.
