A female was dropped off at a friend’s house on West 147th in Brook Park after she was shot in the foot in Cleveland. It was reported at about 12:30 a.m. Nov. 13. Police did not provide further information.
Fire: Smith Road
A fire broke out at about 4:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at or near Harpo’s Sports Café, 5777 Smith, which according to Yelp is no longer in business.
The initial investigation revealed that “open burning” was the cause of the fire. The person responsible was identified. Police did not provide further information.

A Sheldon resident was defrauded of a large sum of money by a telephone scam.
The incident was reported at about 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7. A male falsely claiming he was from FirstEnergy Corp. told the victim to make a payment using gift cards. Police did not provide further information.
Theft: West 139th Street
Money was stolen between 7 p.m. Nov. 9 and 10:30 p.m. Nov. 10 from a vehicle. Police did not provide further information.
Grand theft vehicle: Smith Road
An unidentified male and an unidentified female jumped into a parked vehicle, left running outside Circle K-Marathon, 5878 Smith, and drove away. Police did not provide further information about the vehicle theft.
