Chicago police are investigating a homicide after finding a 22-year-old woman dead in her Washington Heights residence late Tuesday.
Officers were first called to the residence in the 10200 block of South Morgan Street about 10:10 p.m., according to an online media notification.
In a bedroom, they located a woman suffering from head trauma. She was pronounced dead in the home, officials said.
The medical examiner’s office early Wednesday identified her as Keishianta Coleman, 22, who lived in the home in which she was found dead.
The online notification notes Coleman was found “after an argument with her boyfriend.” It does not identify the boyfriend as a suspect or person of interest.
“Area South Detectives are in the process of identifying the offender,” police spokeswoman Karie James wrote in an email.
She said no additional information was available Wednesday morning.
