FOX News announced the signing of pollster and pundit Kristen Soltis Anderson as a contributor, the network announced on Tuesday.
Soltis Anderson, the co-founder of Echelon Insights, comes to FOX News as cable news networks build up their respective on-air talent ahead of the 2020 election.
The Washington Examiner columnist served as an ABC News political analyst and has appeared regularly across several political programs including on MSNBC, CNN and HBO's "Real Time."
The hiring comes as Fox News marked its 71st consecutive quarter as the most-watched cable news network, according to ratings released by Nielsen Media Research on Tuesday afternoon.
The top five shows on cable news for July, August and September in total viewers, as well as the key 25-54 demographic, were Fox's "Hannity" with 3.28 million viewers, followed by " Tonight" with 3.08 million.
"The Ingraham Angle" was third with 2.629 million, followed by MSNBC's " Show" with 2.52 million and FNC's "The Five" with 2.5 million.
