CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Browns are back in the AFC North on Thursday night when Pittsburgh comes to town. The Steelers bring a four-game winning streak to town while the Browns were able to halt their four-game losing streak with a win over Buffalo on Sunday.
Here are our picks for Thursday’s game.
Mary Kay Cabot (6-3): Browns 24, Steelers 23
The Steelers defense is relentless, but the Browns will be amped in an almost must-win game at home, and Kareem Hunt is a gamechanger.
Dan Labbe (6-3): Steelers 20, Browns 17
Pittsburgh’s defense is good enough to escape Cleveland with the Steelers’ fifth win in a row.
Scott Patsko (5-4): Browns 13, Steelers 10
Austin Seibert has been perfect on field goals this season (16-of-16). He finally gets the chance to play the hero, in a game that should be dominated by defense.
Doug Lesmerises (4-5): Browns 22, Steelers 14
That’s five field goals as the red-zone issues don’t vanish, but Freddie Kitchens takes the points when they’re there. The touchdown is Odell Beckham breaking loose for his second score of the season.
Ellis Williams (3-4): Browns 17, Steelers 16
Mason Rudolph won’t make enough plays down the stretch as the Browns defense will outplay Mike Tomlin’s defensive unit, plus an Odell Beckham Jr. touchdown will help also.
Hayden Grove (2-7): Steelers 18, Browns 14
Here we go again. The atmosphere at FirstEnergy Stadium should be electric on Thursday night, but so too should the Steelers defense.
