New On Netflix November 2019

New York Post 1 month ago

Pop some popcorn and curl up under a blanket, because Netflix is here with another slate of Original series, blockbuster hits, and one of the most highly-anticipated movies of the year. You won’t even want to wait until Thanksgiving to queue up a binge-watch; in November, Netflix is releasing new content every damn day (or, at the very least, every other day). What are you waiting for?

Netflix is getting into the Oscars game this November. Next month, the streaming giant is betting big on The Irishman, Martin Scorsese’s mob drama starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci. The 209 minute-long epic — yes, it’s three hours and 29 minutes long — received rave reviews when it debuted at the New York Film Festival last month, and it may be Netflix’s best chance yet at winning a coveted Best Picture statue. After you’ve spent some time with the Hollywood veterans, feast your eyes upon young star Timothée Chalamet in The King. The period drama stars Chalamet as King Henry V, a young man who reluctantly steps onto the throne after his father dies.

In the mood for a longer binge-watch? After almost two years away, The Crown returns with its third season on November 17. This time around, Queen Elizabeth will be played by Olivia Colman, hot off her Best Actress Oscar win for The Favourite. But The Crown isn’t the only series Netflix has in store for viewers next month. In November, dark comedy The End of the F***ing World returns for Season 2, as well as anthology Dolly Parton’s HeartstringsAtypical, and more.

What other shows and movies are coming to Netflix next month? Here’s what’s new on Netflix November 2019.
