FIGHTS, spats and painful splits are never far away in the Love Island villa.
And after an explosive row, we take a look at Wes Nelson and Laura Anderson's relationship and whether they are still together...
Have Wes and Laura split up?
After an exceedingly fast romance, Laura and Wes were strongly backed to finish their summer of love with an impromptu engagement.
Coral put the couple at 4-1 odds to announce a 2018 engagement at one point during the show.
Laura's last "engagement" left her heartbroken after splitting with Welsh professional rugby player Michael Poole.
If they do intend to tie the knot, they would become the third Love Island couple to walk down the aisle after Jess and Dom, and Olivia and Alex.
That looks very unlikely now after the pair had a huge fight during episode 23 of the 2018 series.
First glamour model Megan Barton Hanson kissed Wes during a game of snog, marry, pie right in front of Laura - having previously admitted to fancying Wes.
Following that Megan opened up to Wes about how she felt, leading Wes to tell Laura he was having doubts about their relationship.
After an explosive argument, Laura told Wes it was over between them before marching off close to tears and hurling insults at Megan.
Despite their nine-year age difference, Wes and Laura hooked up in the villa
What's the age difference between them?
Laura is the oldest Islander in this year's villa at the age of 29, whereas nuclear designs engineer Wes is the joint youngest at just 20.
During their first date outside the villa, Laura insisted that their nine-year age difference doesn't bother her, telling Wes: “I don’t care, I love a little toy boy.
“You can keep me young, it’s good. I feel like you might be a bit naughty, to be honest – I just think you’re too good to be true.”
The two then opened up about their plans for the future with both stating they plan to have a family within the next ten years.
