YORKSHIRE Ripper Peter Sutcliffe has “dumped” an American cheerleader he once called his “darling gal”.
Penpal Krystal Smith, 28, swapped flirty letters with the jailed 73-year-old serial killer.
But the lifer, who murdered 13 women, has now told her to “move on”.
He warned her from tough Frankland jail, Co Durham, that she was “in too deep” — but promised they could stay friends.
The Sun on Sunday told last year Sutcliffe called Krystal “darling gal” adding: “If I could rewrite the alphabet I’d put U and I together.”
But the fiend has now written to Krystal to end their “romance” and told her she should meet a man nearer her own age.
She seemed to sign her name Krystal Sutcliffe and wanted to wed him.
Sutcliffe targeted lone women in attacks in Yorkshire and Greater Manchester from 1975 to 1980.
He was eventually caught – about to carry out another attack – in January 1981.
He was jailed in May 1981 after an Old Bailey trial, and given 20 life sentences.
