Kiva Turkey Gravy

Cannabis turkey gravy? 2019 is the year! California’s Kiva Confections is relaxing a new cannabis-infused turkey gravy just in time for Thanksgiving this year, a few fast-acting edible designed specifically to enjoy along with your meal.

Unlike traditional edibles, Kiva says that the gravy will bypass the lengthy trip though your liver and is instead absorbed into the soft tissue and stomach, something that allows the cannabinoids to take effect in just two to 15 minutes rather than the 90 minutes plus that edibles typically take.

Kiva makes the magic happen through individually encapsulated molecules tat are isolated from other molecules they might interact with and are small enough to be absorbed through the body’s endocannabinoid receipts, one molecule at a time.

It’s a process Kiva says offers the fastest-acting and most bioavailable cannabinoids available in edibles today.

And it’s only just the beginning. Kiva says that its turkey gravy is the first of a number of holiday offerings the company plans to launch this year.

If you want to try the gravy, you’ll need to be in California. Kiva plans to sell the gravy, which includes 10MG of THC per package, in Northern California at Grassroots in San Francisco and in Southern California at Sweet Flower’s three dispensaries.

Each package is priced at $5.
