CORONATION Street actor Sam Robertson looks totally different after cutting off his long curly hair.
The star, 34, normally sports a slicked back look for his appearances as Adam Barlow on the ITV soap.
Sam also shocked fans when he sported his natural hair while out at the pub with fellow castmembers in the summer.
Yet his newest look – spotted while out and about on 12 October – is a far cry from the others, with a short back and sides with styling on the top.
The Scottish hunk also bared his chest while wearing an unbuttoned shirt and coat.
While appearing on Corrie, he normally has his curly hair straightened and slicked back, giving off his hardman vibe.
He caused controversy before when he cut off his locks without producers knowing – who wanted him to keep it long.
However, he took a ten week break in the summer to allow the hair to grow back and getting the slicked back look back on screen.
He told The Sun Online at the time: “The break’s allowed me to grow my hair, which was a bit of a debate upstairs.
“I had a bit of a Billy Connolly beard as well. Next year I’ll come back with a face tattoo or something. Once you go curly you can’t go straight because you’ve been exposed.
“I’ve always wanted to grow my hair long. When I got offered to come back in 2016 my hair was longer than this and slicked back.
“But every time I’ve grown my hair in the past and I’ve booked on a job they’ve asked me to cut my hair.
“So I cut it and [former Corrie boss] Kate Oates was gutted because she wanted me to keep it long. I thought she was joking.
“So this was my first opportunity to grow it because of continuity. I think it looks alright onscreen I think it works for the camera. I’ll grow it for as long as I can get away with it before it looks ridiculous.”
His character Adam Barlow is about to step up to help his uncle Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) after the death of his wife Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn).
Adam will find Dan drunk as he struggles to cope with the loss.
