RING has made home security more accessible, but there’s a handful of accessories which can upgrade your system on the cheap.
Here are a trio that you should consider.

For under £50, you can take changing your Ring doorbell’s battery off the to-do list forever[/caption]
Firstly, a solar panel – it offers your Ring device continuous charge, so you’ll never have to change a battery or run out of power again.
Ring has a solar panel attachment which is compatible with doorbells 2, 3 and 4.
It needs several hours of direct sunlight everyday to keep the battery in your video doorbell charged for longer.
It’s currently available on Amazon for £49, and includes a toolkit and cable to help set up “in just a few minutes”, according to the listing.
The second accessory is the humble Wall Mount, which attaches your doorbell onto your wall or door without any drilling or screws.
The weather-proof mount is perfect for rental properties.
It’s compatible for Ring’s 2nd generation doorbell only, and is currently available at Amazon for £17.99.
There is also an adjustable one available, which is worth mulling over.
Thirdly, is the Ring Chime accessory.
It’s a chime box that connects to your existing Ring doorbells and cams, so you can hear real-time notifications when motion is triggered or when someone rings the bell.
It has a variety of chime tones to choose from, and is currently available at Amazon for £29.99.
