LOVE birds can celebrate their “happily ever after” for cheap by hosting their wedding party at McDonald’s in Hong Kong.
That’s right, the fast food chain offers wedding packages that include everything from invites to balloons and a tiered apple pie cake.

Sadly for Brits, the packages are currently only available in 15 venues in Hong Kong – but those willing to make the trip get a lot for their money.
The basic “Happiness Party” package costs just £308 (£2,999 Hong Kong dollars), and includes venue hire for two hours, audio equipment, as well as some decorations.
The average UK wedding cost more than a whopping £30,000 last year, so it’s a sweet saving.
American Youtuber Safiya Nygaard, who boasts 8.4million subscribers, chose this package when she travelled to Hong Kong recently with her fiance Tyler Williams.

While the vlogger doesn’t plan on having her real wedding in Maccie’s, she wanted to experience the fast food nuptials first-hand to document it in a Youtube video.
But if you really want to ramp up your special day, then there are plenty of add-ons.
For example, a set of “Loving You” table ballons cost £70 (680 Hong Kong dollars), or you can get a roses balloon arch for a pricier £132 (1,288 Hong Kong dollars).
Alternatively, you can choose Chinese-themed decorations such as couple balloons for £194 (1,888 Hong Kong dollars).
“Our wedding party packages have just everything you need, including unique venue decoration, customized games and special gifts for bride & groom and your guests,” the official website says.
“All you need to do is to be there and enjoy the moment of your lifetime.”
The packages first launched in 2011 in just three McDonald’s in Hong Kong.
In last year’s budget, Chancellor Philip Hammond announced a review of “outdated” marriage ceremony laws so couples can get married in McDonald’s, pubs and hotels.
Meanwhile, newlyweds recently went straight to McDonald’s after getting hitched – and even took the photographer to capture the moment.
A few months ago, a bride-to-be was mocked after revealing that her boyfriend proposed by sticking the ring in a McDonald’s Big Mac.
