Home Bargains has slashed the price of its electric clothes dryer from £35 to £17

HOME Bargains has slashed the price of its sell-out electric clothes dryer and shoppers already can’t wait to get their hands on it.

The popular gadget sold out fast online after its initial release but now the discounter has knocked down its price from £35 to £17.

This electric clothes dryer was a sell-out when it was first released

That means shoppers who find one in stores will save £18 from its original price, or 51 per cent.

The nifty dryer holds 10kg of washing and Home Bargains says it can dry light-weight clothes in 30 minutes.

The discount was spotted by one bargain hunter who shared her find on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

Shopper Leanne Tait posted: “Home Bargains have these in sale. Plenty in stock.”

The airer has been reduced in price by 51 per cent

Her post has so far received almost 2,500 comments, so it looks like the airer won’t be around for too long.

One shopper said: “I want one.”

While another added: “I’m going for a look tomorrow, thanks.”

And someone else posted: “100 per cent need one! I’ll have to have a look in Eastleigh to see if they have them.”

However, it’s not clear how many stores are still stocking the electric airers, and if the knocked-down price is same across all shops.

We’ve asked Home Bargains to confirm how many of their stores still have this discount and we’ll update this article when we know more.

In the meantime, it’s worth calling up your local store to find out if it has any in stock before making the trip down there.

Home Bargains has more than 500 stores across the UK.

You can find your nearest one including contact details by using its store locator tool.

The retailer is currently offering the cheapest price we could find on dryers of this kind.

For example, the same one sets you back £46.99 on eBay, while Lakeland and Wayfair are selling similar dryers for £59.99 and £60.99, respectively.

But do take note that it’s best to leave it in a room where you can leave a window open, as drying clothes indoors can cause mould due to the extra moisture in the air.

In case you missed it, Aldi is selling a heater with a remote to keep your home warm this winter.

Plus, the discounter is also selling a heated throw just to give you more options when it comes to keeping toasty.
