The actor famous for playing Kevin the teenager's dad in Harry Enfield has died aged 81.
Stephen Moore was also well know for being the voice of Marvin the Paranoid android in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
He first performed the role of the "manically depressed" robot with "a brain the size of a planet" in the second episode of the original radio series in 1978.
His character became one of the most popular in the series and he continued to voice the role across five radio series, a television adaptation, and in a recent stage show.
When he retired from acting the role of Marvin was taken over by Jim Broadbent in the sixth radio series last year.
He died last Friday and a cause of death has yet to be announced.
Fan David Court wrote: "A sad farewell to Stephen Moore. I first knew him as Marvin, the paranoid android.
"Also amazing as the father of Adrian Mole and Kevin the teenager, and so much mo(o)re. RIP."
David Eldridge added: "Very sad to hear Stephen Moore has died. Wonderful actor and lovely man who I was privileged to work with when Festen transferred in to the west end.
"God where do all the years go, three of that company are no longer with us. Anyway, rest in peace Stephen."
