The main benefits of the Mastercard are 60,000 points sign-up bonus + earning 5 Choice Privileges points when settling Choice Hotels folio with it.

The Select Mastercard comes with 90,000 points sign-up bonus and an increased earning of 10 Choice Privileges points for every dollar spent at Choice-affiliated hotels. The card also comes with an annual bonus of 30,000 points for the $95 fee and 20 elite qualifying nights (instant Platinum status).

Choice’s Card Information:

Conclusion

Looking at the points earnings and benefits, the Select Mastercard makes sense if you frequently stay at Choice-affiliated hotels, as the point earnings are essentially doubled. The yearly 30,000 bonus points more than cover the $95 annual fee.

I would not, however, swipe these cards anywhere else, as there are better products out there for earning points, miles, or cash back.
