Carlos Alcaraz is the newest familiar face to be added to Calvin Klein’s roster of ‘Calvins or Nothing’ campaigns, featuring a series of topless black and white shots.
The number one tennis player in the world, Carlos Alcaraz, is seen shot in black and white by photographer Gray Sorrenti. The campaign features the brand’s signature designs, as well as its newest ‘Classic Straight’ jeans.
The imagery, which focuses on Calvin Klein’s latest underwear line, has previously featured actress Maya Hawke and soccer player Romelu Lukaku.
In an interview with Complex, the 19-year-old tennis player said: “The imagery in all their campaigns is timeless and I was excited to work with such a great team”
Commenting on his ranking as the No. 1-ranked player in men’s tennis, he added: “To actually achieve it is an incredible feeling… At the same time, however, this is just the beginning for me. Staying at the top is the real goal and I am really looking forward to getting back out on the court this year and continuing to develop as a player.”
Calvin Klein, founded in 1968 by the eponymous designer, has recently opted to recruit Spanish talent to its management team as well as its campaigns. At the end of 2022, the company announced the appointment of Eva Serrano as its new Global Brand President, who will take on her new role in March 2023.
