LOS ALAMITOS — At least four pedestrians were critically injured when hit by a car Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 11.
The area near Ball Road and Bloomfield Street was closed shortly after the 2:09 p.m. crash, said Los Alamitos police Capt. Sean Connolly. He said only one car was involved in the crash. The driver reportedly also hit a bank sign.
The Orange County Fire Authority said all of the pedestrians were taken to hospitals with critical injuries. They said the driver is a woman in her 30s.
Details about what led to the crash were not immediately available.
