An assailant broke into Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s home on Thursday night and assaulted her husband, the congresswoman said.
Paul Pelosi, venture capitalist and husband of California Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, was attacked in the couple’s San Francisco home last night by an unknown assailant.
‘The assailant is in custody and the motivation for the attack is under investigation,’ Drew Hammill, Pelosi’s press secretary stated. ‘Mr. Pelosi was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving excellent medical care and is expected to make a full recovery.’
Speaker Pelosi was not in San Francisco at the time of the assault.
