What can we expect from the NAOMI exhibition next summer?

NAOMI, will showcase the model’s ability to ‘walk’ the catwalk, while outlining the many collaborations she has created with fashion houses across 40 years in the industry, with Campbell’s voice firmly at the forefront. Once you’ve gawked at all the outfits, you’ll also be able to take in the stunning fashion photography featured across the exhibit, with images from the likes of Nick Knight, Steven Meisel, and Tim Walker brought together in an installation by Edward Enniful OBE.

Elsewhere at NAOMI, the exhibition will honour those who mentored Campbell, which includes figures such as Nelson Mandela, who served as an inspiration for her to use her platform for social change. It’ll also highlight her work alongside Iman and Bethann Hardison, who she has campaigned for The Diversity Coalition with since 2013 to celebrate diversity on catwalks.

Speaking on the exhibition, Naomi Campbell said: “I’m honoured to be asked by the V&A to share my life in clothes with the world.”

NAOMI, the career retrospective of Naami Campbell, will run at the V&A between June 22, 2024 to April 6, 2025.
